De expo: Generation Teheran, impressions of daily life in the capital of Iran. Dit is wat Sam ons vertelde over deze fotoreeks:

Deze expo is een selectie van foto's die genomen zijn op verschillende reizen naar Teheran. Het zijn voornamelijk foto's gemaakt van of met mijn Iraanse vrienden, van toevallige ontmoetingen of intieme momenten in Teheran.

De foto's geven een persoonlijk beeld van het leven in de Iraanse hoofdstad, zoals beleefd door mijn leeftijdsgenoten daar. Ook geeft het een kijk in de levens van de doorsnee Iraniër zoals die zelden door de media wordt weergegeven.

De foto's zijn levendig, kleurrijk en indringend. De kijker wordt opgenomen in het Teheran van vandaag, waar melancholie, sterke vrouwen en excentrieke mannen schering en inslag zijn.

De tentoonstelling is open op zaterdag 21.11  28.11 & 5.12 tussen 14u en 19u
